I was saddened to see that Trever Benner died yesterday at the age of 7. He was Ron Hunter's (step)son and had a rare disease. I wish him peace, and his family. http://www.albertleatribune.com/article....it2.txt Article from March 2007... 6-year-old boy has big dream fulfilled

That is incredibly sad news.

Breaks my heart. What a horrible thing for a family to have to go through. My sincerest sympathies to Run Hunter and his family.
Rest in peace little man.

Trever taught all of those that knew him a very great lesson in his short time here. No matter how much pain he was in he always managed to show love.

For such a young man Trev had always seemed to know he was not long for the physical world. He often made the statement about going to see Jesus and other words of that sort. This coming from a young man who's family never pushed religion upon him and yet he accepted the reality of his situation. Trev was wise beyond those 7 years.
He will be deeply missed and I know that Ron and the family appreciate your thoughts and wishes during this time. They lost the physical part of Trever but the important part, the memories of him, will always be with the family.
RIP Trev you are with the angels now.

Thank you all for your kind words. We really take them to heart. Trever passed away with his mother present rubbing his back and he left us quickly with no more suffering than the pain he was already it. It was very fast, and it appered as he just went to sleep. We are very greatfull for Gods mercy in that it was fast and was not as rough as it could have been.
For those interested, visitation will be at Bayview Funeral Home on Wed from 4 to 7 PM. Visitation also on Thursay morning from 10 to 11 AM with service to follow at 11AM.
I also want to thank Todd and his staff for making this difficult time easier with their caring and compassion. Instead of flowers, please make a donation to either the Make A Wish Foundation, or Crossroads Community Hospice in Trevers name.
Peace be with you all.
Ron & Christine
