I believe the city council discussed new zoning laws at its last meeting. Anyone know of possible dispensaries opening in Albert Lea.

The State is still dragging their feet, they've just closed their special eligibility verification application process..
Freeborn County had 2 applicants in this category for Cannabis retailers (dispensaries) can't tell you if they're approved..
Can't seem to find the list this morning, but I've seen it, know it's online.
The Office of Cannabis Management was accepting applications to verify social equity eligibility. The preapproval application portal was open on July 24 and closed on August 12. Applicants will be notified if selected.
General public applications will open next year.
The following list is license categories:
Cannabis microbusiness
Cannabis mezzobusiness
Cannabis cultivators
Cannabis manufacturers
Cannabis retailers (dispensaries)
Cannabis wholesalers
Cannabis transporters
Cannabis testing
Cannabis delivery
