From NFL Network...QUOTE In some circles all of this would be considered overkill. Welcome to Favre Watch. We’re watching every moment of Brett Favre’s arrival at an airport in suburban Eden Prarie, Minn., where a white private plane with a purple underbelly landed Tuesday afternoon. Our main TV feed is from a helicopter, but all indications are two SUVs and a pickup truck are picking up the triumphant trio and Favre. Favre got into a black SUV that drove off the tarmac first. We’re happy to report it was not driven by Brad Childress. Other than the rubes standing at the gate of the airport, it kind of feels like an episode of 24. Judging by what we’re currently (still) watching, it looks as though the local television helicopters are going to follow Favre’s vehicle to the team’s Winter Park headquarters. The Vikings have yet to announce a news conference for today. I got my Sidney Rice jersey ready to go Posted by MADDOG on Aug. 17 2010,5:22 pm
Aren't some of you getting just a little tired of his "Look at me" sensationalisms?

I've been in Seattle over 10 years now and still root for the Vikes. We have a contingent out here that loves them and we're all split on it. Screw this drama. Go Seahawks. I'm done with the vikings now. Go twins, nice stadium and f the yankees. Posted by Two Bears on Aug. 18 2010,12:06 am

I still hate you guys for stealing Steve Hutchison from us. Best right guard in the league. Every RB and QB is awesome behind him. The pocket doesn't collapse and you've got a TE open and a hole for the RB. Drama Favre could play at 90 if Hutch was still this good. Give a new QB a chance to win with this offense. Let the team buy in to themselves and not sell themselves out to the "Wrangler Jeans" guy. Posted by Two Bears on Aug. 18 2010,10:09 am
You have to look at the bigger picture, Bret is still one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL and that is why the Vikes are / gave him so much room to meke a decision. He will make an instant impact to the teams quality and the odds of getting to the Super Bowl just increased by a 1000% over going with Jackson. Now - they need to figure out if they should cut Jackson or Sage and keep Web to develop as he does look pretty good. I think that Sage is better than Jackson so I hope that Jackson goes away. Posted by Common Citizen on Aug. 18 2010,9:48 pm
The media did this to themselves...After the LaBron James hype was over they were looking for something new to keep sports nuts engaged until the football season started. How many years has farve done this? If I was Favre, I tell every to kiss my ass, starting with Dino Costa. Love him or hate him...he puts out a great product. oh...and WIN TWINS!!! yep scary, I was crushed Hopefully Javon Walker can do almost as well as he did at the beginning of his career. I'm still counting on the Vikes to put on amazing games to watch this season. With Jared Allen's spark and Favre's true love of the game, it should be another great season to watch. It's so refreshing not to swear at the tv anymore while the Vikes are playing, now if we could just have the officials make better calls than the last time we played the Saints. But then again maybe that's asking for too much. Go Vikings!! WoooooHooooo!!!! Posted by Two Bears on Aug. 26 2010,8:51 am
We have a tough schedule this year, it won't be easy.
