Note 1: In the video I show the Earth as it is today, and the location of the fossil Troodon and Oviraptor eggs in Montana and Mongolia. I described these as "opposite sides of the world." As a couple of viewers pointed out, the configuration of the continents was different in the cretaceous. However, the places where the different eggs were found are still what could be described as "opposite sides of the world." According to my "Atlas of Evolution", only a few degrees off 180 degrees, in fact. I wanted to use a globe representing the cretaceous, but couldn't find one.

Agnostic myself.
Was forced to go to church at least 3x/week.
I've seen people speak in tongues and do some other crazy shit
As I've gotten older I've learned to just let people believe what they want.
If belief gets them through their day a little better that's A-OK with me.
Just don't force your beliefs on people or try and dictate laws based on a religion.
I do believe in some of the basic tenets of Christianity, you know, be a good person, help the helpless, don't be a dick, don't molest kids (or anyone for that matter) and for Christ's sake don't hide it and/or move the problem to another parish.
The rest of the BS can go fly a kite.
I'm also for pulling tax exemptions on churches.

I can relate to your post GIL..I won't begrudge anyone their CHOICE of belief, whatever it takes to get them through this life, but at the same time I don't want those beliefs pushed on US..
I've tried Christianity twice in my life, not that their aren't good people trying to practice that Religion, but I found a cultish hierarchy attempting control the Church..
Possibly the money changers Jesus spoke of in the Bible..decided organized Religion wasn't for me.
When I was on my all expense paid Asian Vacation thanks to Tricky Dick Nixon I met local woman who spoke English, she was a practicing Buddhist.
She took me under her wing, actually took me with her to a Buddhist temple, where they'd do some ritual meditation.
She took me to her home and showed a small cupboard, when opened it was a small shrine dedicated to her daily Buddhist practice.
Buddhist are different in the aspect they don't have a God or deity, it's more of philosophical tradition attempting to put you on a path of the least suffering in life..
As for me I'm a Free Spirit..

I've used the example of the greenish warbler, after someone pointed out that the ensatina is not the best example of a ring species. Hybrids of the two end-species in the ensatina ring exist in two locations, whereas there are no hybrids from the two end-species descended from the greenish warbler.
The gap you will see in the orange-colored area covering the obscuratus on the map of Asia (at around 3:00 mins) is caused by human habitation which has eliminated the obscuratus from that particular area.

What Albert Einstein Said About The GOD?In 1954, Einstein wrote a letter to Eric Gutkind in which he expressed his feelings about the God. Einstein said, "The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and a product of human weaknesses." Einstein didn't believe in biblical beliefs and never attended religious prayers as a teen.
Einstein didn't like the idea of a personal god a god that listens to all your room prayers and rewards or punishes people accordingly. Even on death, he denied the traditional burial because he didn't wanted people to pray on his grave. So, he asked his family to burn his body instead and scatter the ashes secretly, which they did.
