Just enter the IP address in the box.

It only narrows it down to the nearest node of any given ISP, and totally worthless if someone was running through proxies. I ran my works IP and it was off by 10miles, run the same IP through a proxy and it just error-ed out.

It was only about 100 yds from my house. 
When I put your IP address it showed an arrow right to an L shaped home with a pool or pond behind the adjoining home. So if I ever get down that way I will most likely be egging the wrong house?

I was joking about the egging, but I think it is funny that it actually points an arrow right at someone's house.

Thats way on the other side of the Harvey canal, thats about 10 miles off from here. When I input my IP addy, It shows up around Ames Blvd and Lapalco. Which is way off too.
And I know you were joking about the egging. Save em, fry em up and serve with some bacon. MMMMM

I'm with some of my family at a cabin near Ely, MN this week. I looked up the IP here on dnsstuff, and it said I'm near Rochester, New York. Then I checked that site posted here, and it pointed to the west coast of Africa. So either way, the IP is really screwy here apparently.

If you go to speedtest.net it will likely tell you the server or switch station you're connected to. At work I'm in Houston if on the wireless, it's Pittsburgh if plugged to the wall. At home it varies a bit from the Russian embassy downtown seattle (where all the main west coast trunks come in) to Olympia.

Lib- can you pull this ip address? I sent it from the droid. I can only find the mac address. I think I'm connected to my home wireless network but forgot to check.
